2024 Calendar Photo Contest
Welcome to the 2024 CCB Calendar Photo Contest! At CCB, Community Counts, and we want to feature YOU in our 2024 calendar! We’re looking for stunning photographs that capture the essence of our motto, “CCB – Where Community Counts.” CCB is dedicated to fostering strong, vibrant communities, and we believe that a picture is worth a thousand words. Show us how your photo embodies the spirit of community, and your image could be featured in our 2024 calendar.
Eligibility
- The contest is open to all photographers, amateur and professional, aged 18 and older.
- Employees of CCB are not eligible to participate.
- Entrants must reside in Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, or Erie Counties.
- Photos must be taken in Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, or Erie Counties.
Entry Period
- The entry period for this contest is from September 11 to November 1, 2023.
- All entries must be submitted online by 5 p.m. on November 1, 2023.
How to Enter
- Fill out the official entry form below, including your name, contact information, and a brief description of your photo.
- Upload your photo, ensuring it meets the specified image requirements (resolution, format, etc.).
Entry Guidelines
- Each participant may submit a maximum of three (3) photographs.
- Photographs should be original and must not have been previously published or won awards in other contests.
- Ensure that your photo aligns with the theme “Where Community Counts.”
- Minor post-processing is allowed (e.g., color correction, cropping), but major alterations that change the photo’s original context are not permitted.
- Nudity, violence, or offensive content will result in disqualification.
- CCB reserves the right to disqualify any photos as they see fit.
- All decisions are final.
Image Requirements
- Photo Format: JPEG or PNG
- Resolution: Minimum 3000 pixels on the longest side
- File Size: Maximum 10 MB
Judging Criteria
CCB staff will vote on the submitted photos and the top 11 will be included in the calendar. We will also place selected photos on our Facebook page for online voting for a “People’s Choice” winner to be included in the calendar.
- All photos will be judged on the following:
- Relevance to the theme “Where Community Counts”
- Creativity and originality
- Composition and visual appeal
Notification of Winners
Winners will be notified via email within one week of the end of the voting period.
Publication Rights
By entering the contest, participants grant CCB non-exclusive rights to publish, reproduce, and distribute their submitted photographs for promotional purposes, including the 2024 calendar and CCB’s online and offline marketing materials.
Disclaimer
CCB reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not adhere to the contest rules or do not align with the theme. Decisions of the judges are final.
